Sky’s the Limit has planned a night sky weekend festival packed with exciting day and night time activities for all ages. The Night Sky Festival is presented by Joshua Tree National Park in partnership with Sky’s the Limit and the Joshua Tree National Park Association. The weekend is packed with fascinating programs and events, on the Sky’s the Limit campus and at various locations inside the National Park, with day and night activities for the entire family. Some of the activities include: solar scope viewing and rocket launching, night Junior Ranger Explorer booklet activities, and panel discussions such as “The Changing the Landscape of Joshua Tree Park” and “Women in Science.” Night sky extravaganzas at Sky’s The Limit, Twin Tanks, and Cottonwood will include star tours of the night sky, telescope viewing, interpretive talks, and more.
