On Saturday October 3, at 10:15 a.m., the Orchid Society of Arizona gives a free children’s orchid class, for children ages 6 to 16. Class size is limited to 30. Participants are urged to bring a clean one-gallon plastic jug.
At 11:15 is an adult orchid class on dendrobium and oncidium orchids. The $15 charge includes a blooming orchid for you to bring home. Sign up at http://www.gublers.com/#!class-registration/c12yc. Another Adult Orchid Class at 1:15 is about of phalaenopsis orchids, also with a $15 charge and an orchid to take home.
A final session on Saturday is a $25 orchid arrangement class. Call 364-2282 to make reservations.
On Sunday there’s a dendrobium and oncidium class for adults at 11:15, and a phalaenopsis class at 1:15, each with a $15 fee, and an orchid to take home.
