SHOTS FIRED THURSDAY AT YUCCA VALLEY BUSINESS

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of shots being fired at a business in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the Joshua Tree Crossfit center in the 58900 block of Business Center Drive about 11 a.m. Thursday. An unknown suspect fired seven rounds from a firearm at the business. The bullets caused visible damage to the exterior of the building, and one bullet broke a window and was recovered inside the building. The business was not occupied at the time of the shooting.
