SHOTS FIRED IN FLAMINGO HEIGHTS

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of shots fired in Flamingo Heights. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 1900 block of Yellow Knife Road called about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning to report that someone was driving in circles on the property, shouting, and shooting at a motorhome on the 5-acre lot. Responding deputies determined the motorhome had been struck at least seven times with some type of buckshot. An investigation led deputies to a residence on Wamego Trail where possible evidence was collected. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
