SEVEN MORONGO BASIN LAW ENFORCEMENT NAMED OFFICERS OF THE YEAR

Members of various branches of law enforcement were honored for their service during last night’s ceremony. The officer-of-the-year awards went to Sheriff’s Deputy Efrain Herrera, Probation Officer Timothy Buckland, Court Services Deputy Bob Hazell, CHP Officer Aaron Lowe, and Park Ranger Nik Klutch. For Provost Marshal Officer, Staff Sergeant Eric Henderson, and for Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Special Agent Juan Lara-Sosa were honored. Congressman Paul Cook gave a short speech after the ceremony, thanking the recipients, and all officers present for their service. Officer Aaron Lowe and Ranger Nik Klutch were not able to attend the ceremony; their awards were accepted by others on their behalf.
