SERVICES TOMORROW FOR LYLE KLEEN

Lyle Leslie Kleen, 86, a resident of Yucca Valley, died July 10th. A native of Oregon, he served in the U.S. Merchant Marine during World War II. From 1979 to 2012, he was the owner-operator of the West Side Barber Shop in Yucca Valley. Lyle and his wife Barbara have been active members of the Yucca Valley Elks Lodge since 1982. Lyle was twice elected as Exalted Ruler of the lodge. Lyle is survived by his wife Barbara; son Franklin Kleen; daughter Suzie Bass; Barbara’s daughters Lisa Chester and Debbie Stone; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Lyle Kleen will be held at the Yucca Valley Elks Lodge, tomorrow, July 13th, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the California-Hawaii Elks Association, via the Yucca Valley Elks Lodge.
