SEARCH WARRANT RESULTS IN ARREST FOR POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

Two Twentynine Palms men were arrested Tuesday after Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant in a stolen property investigation. Deputies went to the 6100 block of Encelia Avenue where they discovered about $10,000 worth of stolen property, as well as several pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, ammunition, and body armor. Also at the home was Adam Weaver, 38. Adam Weaver was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana for sales, being a felon in possession of ammunition, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000. Evidence at the scene led deputies to the 6400 block of Sunrise Avenue where they arrested Richard Sancoucie on arrest warrants for hit-and-run and drug-related charges. Richard Sancoucie was also booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
