The Morongo Unified School District board of directors will hold a work study session beginning at 5 p.m. to discuss the interim financial report and review the facilities master plan for the district. The board will then adjourn to closed session to hold a conference with designated bargaining representatives. In open session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will review the interim budget report for the 2017-2018 fiscal year, discuss installing more energy-efficient LED lighting at various schools, approve updates to text books and courses, and will discuss updates needed to comply with several new district laws. The meeting will be held at Joshua Tree Elementary School, located at 4950 Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
