SCHOOL BOARD EXTENDS CLOSURES TO JUNE 10

At the special meeting Tuesday, the MUSD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to extend school closures through June 10, the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year, to help protect students and their families from the ongoing spread of COVID-19. During the meeting, Superintendent Tom Baumgarten responded to public comments regarding graduations, stating that traditional graduation ceremonies would not be taking place due to social distancing rules, but that the District is discussing options for alternative graduation ceremonies.
