SAVE THE DATE FOR JOHNSON VALLEY OKTOBERFEST

Save the date for the 7th annual Oktoberfest celebration in Johnson Valley. The beer garden at the Johnson Valley Oktoberfest opens at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 1. There’ll be a section of craft beers, hard cider, domestic beers, German wine, plus soft drinks, water and fresh pretzels. A German buffet dinner will be served from 5 to 6 p.m., and will feature bratwurst, sauerkraut, German potatoes, and Brussel sprouts, and German chocolate cake and a dessert bar. Advance tickets are $7 at johnsonvalley.com, or $10 at the door, and includes dinner. The Johnson Valley Community Center is at 50567 Quailbush Road. From Hwy 247 turn at the red sign between mile markers 21 and 22, go 1 3/4 miles up Larrea Road to the corner of Quailbush Road and you’re there.
