ROLL OVER CAR CRASH NEAR COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE FRIDAY MORNING

UPDATE 5 P.M. FRIDAY:

A Twentynine Palms woman was seriously injured Friday morning when her SUV rolled over in Joshua Tree. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Randy O’Brien, Adrianna Warren, 25, was driving westbound on Highway 62 at 11 a.m. when for unknown reasons, the tire tread separated on one of her tires near Mount Shasta Avenue. Warren lost control and her 1997 white Ford Explorer rolled over several times, landing upright on the right shoulder of the westbound highway. Paramedics took Warren, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, to Copper Mountain College where she was flown by Mercy Air to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.

 

A crash near Copper Mountain College took place at 11 a.m. Friday morning on westbound Highway 62 blocking the slow lane of Highway traffic. A white Ford Explorer rolled over and crashed just west of the college near Mount Shasta Avenue. Debris was scattered in roadway. Traffic was diverted to the center lane during the investigation of the crash. At least one person was injured and flown by Mercy Air to a local hospital.
