California Retired Teachers will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, at the Helen Gray Center on Whitefeather Road. Captain Robert Marquez, of the Twentynine Palms Fire Department, will discuss home fire safety, placing special emphasis on smoke alarms. Please call Gay Smith at 760-369-2211 no later than Monday, October 6, if you plan to attend and if you would like to reserve lunch, the cost of which is $13.
