RETIRED TEACHERS MEET NEXT WEEK

California Retired Teachers Association will meet Friday, May 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the Helen Gray Center on Whitefeather Road in Joshua Tree. Members will enjoy a presentation by their own Michelle Stoops, who will speak about the founding and history of Hi-Desert Division 62. Lunch will be provided at a cost of $15 per person. Reservations are required. There is no cost to those who attend the meeting but choose not to order lunch, but seats do need to be reserved for meeting attendees. Please call Gay Smith at 760-369-2211, no later than Monday, May 9, if you plan to attend the meeting and if you wish to purchase lunch.
