REP. COOK VOTES FOR BIPARTISAN BUDGET AGREEMENT

Rep. Paul Cook this week voted for the Bipartisan Budget Act to keep the federal government running for another two years. In a press release, Cook
described the act, passed late Wednesday, as a “bipartisan, bicameral agreement that ensures America’s Armed Forces have the necessary resources to maintain military readiness.” In addition, he said, it provides “critical funding for veterans, disaster relief, infrastructure” and the fight against opioid abuse and drug addiction.” Cook, a Republican, is a member of the House Natural Resources, Armed Services and Foreign Affairs
Committees.
