A new show has opened at Gallery 62 art gallery in downtown Joshua Tree, and an opening reception has been set for Saturday, June 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. The show, “The Body Eclectic” features artists Janis Commentz, Timothy Hearsum, Zara Kand, Kat Johnson, David Bottoms, and signature artist Karan Murphy. Works featuring human figures are the theme for this exhibit. The show runs through July 2. Gallery hours are Fridays and Sundays noon to 3; and Saturdays 9 to 3. The gallery is located at 61607 29 Palms Highway, Suite H.
