Reach Out’s Executive Director Robin Schlosser said 193 people from all over the United States visited the five innovative and artistic homes in Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, and Yucca Valley. Schlosser stressed that the event’s success is due to the generous homeowners who offered up their homes for the tour this year.

“People are discovering that this is a great event to attend and enjoy the beauty of our Morongo Basin.”

The extended hours allowed more time for tour goers to explore and to enjoy discounts on lunch offered by local restaurants as part of the ticket purchase.

“In a change from past years, we were able to offer tour goers a 15 percent discount on lunch at local restaurants with the purchase of their ticket. Discounts were offered by the Historic 29 Palms Inn, Mojave Moon Café in 29 Palms and Two Guys Pies in Yucca Valley and gave tour goers a variety of cuisines to choose from.”

Schlosser thanked sponsors Z107.7 Morongo Basin Broadcasting, Hi-Desert Publishing, Kiwanis Club of 29 Palms, Desert Moon Real Estate Pictorial, ArtFx and Furnishings and the Sunrunner for their generous support.
