PUBLIC INVITED TO DISCUSS JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK ISSUES

Would you like to share your thoughts and opinions about Joshua Tree National Park issues? Park Ranger Pam Tripp shares how you can…
This spring, as Joshua Tree National Park celebrates the National Park Service’s 100th year, there is a diverse line-up of ranger-guided programs to attend, including a new program that encourages all visitor voices to be heard. In the past, most of the talking at a ranger program was done by the ranger. Not in “Desert Reflections.” Visitors are invited to share their thoughts and opinions in an interactive discussion about an issue facing the park. Topics will vary day to day and week to week. Join us Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 a.m. or Saturdays at 2 p.m. at the Oasis of Mara Visitor Center, for a one-hour program. For more information, about these interactive discussions and other programs in the park, check out the spring program schedule on our website at www.nps.gov/jotr. You can also stop by any visitor center or call us at 760-367-5522 for information about planning your visit.
