PUBLIC HEARING SET ON CAMPGROUND RESERVATIONS, SHUTTLE SYSTEM IN THE PARK

Campgrounds in Joshua Tree National Park fill up quickly during the peak season, and with attendance consistently increasing each year, many people are finding it more and more difficult to find an empty campsite. Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent David Smith will host a public meeting Wednesday, November 1, to discuss a reservation system for campsites in the Jumbo Rocks and Cottonwood campgrounds. In addition, details about the upcoming shuttle service in the park will be discussed. The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Community Center on Sunburst Avenue.
