A pedestrian was arrested early Saturday morning, accused of carrying a loaded firearm in public. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped Justin White, 36, who was walking on the shoulder of Highway 62 near Camino del Cielo about 4 a.m. White allegedly told the deputy he was carrying a loaded firearm in his backpack. The deputy confirmed the gun was loaded, and then arrested Justin White for carrying a loaded firearm in public. White was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
