Friends of the Joshua Tree Library looking for board members and volunteers

Our local library branches support our community with free access to knowledge and social services – and one of the Morongo Basin’s smallest branches is looking for some support of their own in the new year.

If you have a couple extra hours each month, consider volunteering at the Friends of the Joshua Tree. The non-profit organization is looking for board members and volunteers to help out in the new year.

The Friends of the Joshua Tree Library say that there are some exciting changes coming to the Joshua Tree branch, but those changes means that the organization won’t be able to take book donations through February, and hope to start back up in March.

If you want to volunteer and be part of the upcoming changes to your local branch – you can contact [email protected].

Volunteers and board members are required by San Bernardino County to be fingerprinted. Fingerprinting is paid for by the County and forms can be picked up at the Library.
