The Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council will hold an opening reception for its new exhibit at Gallery 62 Saturday, March 12, during the Second Saturday Art Crawl. The featured exhibit, “Abstract Now in Joshua Tree,” includes a variety of two-and three-dimensional work by Valerie Davis, Kathi Klopfenstein, Hiroko Momii, James O’Keefe, Lenne Rosen-Kabe, Jeff Turner, Larry White, and Stella Vognar. The reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the gallery’s new location, 61607 29 Palms Highway, behind JTAG. The exhibit runs through March 27. The Gallery is open Fridays, 11 to 5, Saturdays, 9 to 5, and Sundays, 11 to 4.
