Nominations are now being accepted for the Minerva Hoyt California Desert Conservation Award. Any person, group, or organization that has made a notable achievement on behalf of California deserts, is eligible for the award. Applications are available from the Joshua Tree National Park Association website. Nominations must be received by January 13, 2018, and the winner will be announced in mid-February.
