NEW RESTAURANT COMING TO TWENTYNINE PALMS

A new locally owned and operated restaurant is coming to Twentynine Palms. Marilu’s Gastropub will be celebrating its official grand opening Tuesday, December 13, at 8:00 a.m. Featuring what is called a “a mix of new materials and vintage salvage finds,” owner Jeanne Mattiussi has created a friendly 49-seat restaurant that offers a mix of dining options: cozy seating or communal tables inside, or outdoor dining in the enclosed patio. Executive Chef Laura King leads the kitchen with a menu that showcases the natural flavors of certified organic ingredients like apple-smoked bacon and hand-crafted meats, Cuban-style pulled pork or ground top sirloin sliders. In addition, Marilu’s will serve fresh-baked oat bars, croissants, and English muffins for fried-egg sandwiches, paired with Joshua Tree Coffee for a great start to the morning. The menu includes an excellent wine list, bottled craft beers or bottles of Stubborn Soda. Marilu’s Gastropub, located at 73511 Twentynine Palms Highway, will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8:00am to midnight and Sunday 9:00am to 4:00 p.m.
