Good news for minimum wage employees; the state minimum wage will go up to $10 an hour as of January 1. That’s nearly $3 more an hour than the federal minimum wage.
And employees with children will also be able to take off up to 40 hours each year so they can participate in their children’s school activities, subject to specified conditions.
