A Morongo Valley woman was arrested Wednesday, accused of shooting a gun in her home. Sheriff’s reports say deputies were called to the 11100 block of Hess Boulevard about 6:30 a.m. for a report of shots fired. The caller said they heard a gunshot as they were leaving the home, and wanted a deputy to check out the home to see if the occupant, later identified as Juanita Aragon, 34, was OK. After an investigation, Juanita Aragon was arrested for discharging a firearm inside a residence, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
