In the hour prior to tonight’s regular meeting of the Morongo Valley Community Services District, Cal Trans will hold a public meeting to talk about plans for Highway 62 in Morongo Valley. The 6 p.m. meeting takes place at the Covington Park pavilion. Then at 7 p.m. the CSD meets close by in the Covington Park Community Building multi-purpose room. At the top of the agenda the board will adjourn to a closed session for an evaluation of the general manager. And under new business, there will be a public hearing followed by a vote on the final budget for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015. Other items up for board consideration include a change in the regular meeting schedule, discussion of a formal complaint filed by Director Karen Lowe as well as other items.
