An equine vet will be the speaker at a free event sponsored by the Morongo Basin Horsemen’s Association. Dr. Ron Lenhert from the Apple Valley Equine Hospital will answer questions and discuss equine topics such as feed, lameness, colic, fly allergies, and basic first aid on Friday, April 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. The event will be held at the Joshua Tree Community Center on Sunburst Avenue.
