A scientist from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena will be the guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Morongo Basin Conservation Association. Annmarie Elderingâs lecture will focus on how NASAâs two orbiting carbon observatory projects are providing scientists with data on carbon dioxideâs movements through the Earthâs atmosphere, plants, and oceans, which ultimately affects our climate. Her lecture will be preceded by a review of previous year and upcoming activity. The annual meeting will be held at 10 a.m. January 23 via Zoom.
