Pharmacy tech books and picnic tables are among the agenda items for today’s monthly meeting of the Morongo Basin Adult Education Consortium’s Executive Committee. The consortium–a partnership consisting of the Copper Mountain College Community College District, Morongo Unified School District and Morongo Basin Coalition for Adult Literacy–is charged with overseeing expenditures related to the Adult Education Block Grant. Today’s meeting gets underway at 11 a.m. at 72277 Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms. It will be immediately followed by a meeting of the Adult Education Block Grant Community Advisory Board at the same location. Both meetings are open to the public.
