The Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series continues Saturday, March 26. Bring your own brown bag lunch, beverages provided. Meet and greet with Madena Asbell, Mojave Desert Land Trust’s new native plant and seed nursery manager. She’s the former director of horticulture, for the Theodore Payne Foundation. Asbell will discuss her work with the Foundation and the rich plant diversity of the California Desert. She will also share her plans for developing the new native plant nursery. All the lectures begin at noon at the MDLT Headquarters at 60124 29 Palms Hwy. in Joshua Tree. All the lectures are free and open to the public.
