A magnitude 3.0 earthquake rattled the Landers area north of Yucca Valley early this morning. According to the U.S. Geologic Society, the 3.0 quake hit at 1:49 a.m. A USGS map shows it originated just north of Linn Road, east of Old Woman Springs, and was at a depth of 2.5 miles.
