Teresa Sitz of Wonder Valley has been a full-time resident of the Morongo Basin for 1 year, during which time she has built a website for Wonder Valley. She also prints a nearly weekly one-sheet newspaper called the Wonder Valley Sand Paper. She is also involved outside of Wonder Valley, helping out at the Copper Mountain Community Center, and writing the Joshua Tree column for the Hi-Desert Star. A Wonder Valley concern that she cites is crime reduction, and implementation of a Neighborhood Watch program. For the Morongo Basin as a whole, she is concerned with development and land use issues.
