It’s official: Yucca Valley residents decidedly voted against a ballot measure that would have allowed up to two medical marijuana dispensaries in the town. The County Registrar of Voters released the official election results yesterday. With 38 percent of the town’s voters casting ballots, Measure X was defeated 56.5 percent to 43.5 percent. The vote count was 2,103 votes NO, to 1,620 votes YES.
