MBTA BOARD MEETS TOMORROW WITH POSSIBLE LITIGATION AND REORGANIZATION

The Morongo Basin Transit Authority Board of Directors will meet Thursday, February 4, at the MBTA Operations Center on Verbena Road in Joshua Tree. After a 4:30 closed session in which directors will discuss anticipated litigation, the directors will meet in open session at 5 p.m. and recognize the employee of the quarter. After administrative and operations reports, the board will choose new board officers, select a member at large, and make committee assignments. Next is a mid-year system review and funding update, approval of bus stop improvements, and a revision to its policy concerning drugs and alcohol.
