The Morongo Basin Transit Authority Board of Directors will be asked to approve its budgets for fiscal year 2016-17 at its next meeting Thursday, May 26. The board will hold a public hearing to discuss its operating, capital, and taxicab budgets, and will then be asked to authorize MBTA to submit a transit claim. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at the MBTA Operations Center on Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
