Morongo Basin residents may hear more noise than usual from the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms over the next month. The Marine Corps will be conducting a 29-day integrated training exercise called ITX 4-17. The exercise will conduct battalion-size, live-fire maneuvers and will incorporate combat support, combat service support, and aviation units. Depending on atmospheric conditions, sound from the training area may be amplified.
