A Marine corporal was arrested Saturday night after he beat up his pregnant wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, Kevin Buitrago, 22, put his wife, who is four-months pregnant, in a choke hold and she passed out. The Sheriff’s report stated the woman also had two black eyes from being punched by Buitrago five days earlier. After an investigation, Kevin Buitrago was arrested at the Naval Hospital on board the Combat Center for false imprisonment and felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
