A man was hospitalized following a dirt bike crash in Morongo Valley late Sunday night. About 11:30 p.m., Morongo Valley firefighters were called to Breezeway at the Little Morongo wash. The man had been riding his dirt bike on Breezeway when he came upon the wash unexpectedly and was unable to stop in time. He was thrown from his bike into the wash and landed on rocks about 6 to 8 feet below. He was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs with serious injuries.
