LOCAL SHERIFF VOLUNTEERS HONORED

The Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station took time to express gratitude to a variety volunteer groups, who donated over 17,000 hours of service to our community in 2019, responding day and night to numerous search and rescue missions, road closures, and extra vacation home patrols. At the annual installation dinner, held Friday night, January 24, Sheriff McMahon swore in the new 2020 Volunteer Officers and Captain Newport recognized individual volunteers for their accomplishments including:
