LOCAL POULTRY OWNERS MEET TOMORROW

Attention Home Chicken owners… The Hi- Desert Homegrown Poultry Association will hold its quarterly meeting at 6pm on Wednesday, July 23, at Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Ave., on the Mesa in Yucca Valley. Founder Charla Shamhart will show a Power Point presentation on ideas and techniques for dealing with hot weather as well as innovative solutions for chicken coops and runs to make chickens healthier and happier, with less work for the poultry keeper. As always, there will be time to ask questions and discuss the fun and challenges of owning chickens and other poultry. Those new to the world of poultry are welcome to attend.
