The general manager of the Joshua Basin Water District will be the guest speaker at Saturday’s meeting of the Morongo Basin Democratic Club. Curt Sauer will give an update on the water district’s issues, followed by a question-and-answer period. The meeting starts with a $10 breakfast at 9 a.m. at Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen on the Copper Mountain College campus, followed by the general meeting at 10 a.m. The meeting is open to all registered Democrats and their invited guests.
