The Morongo Basin Democratic Club will have an update on the districting process in the area at its meeting Saturday, January 13. The club will also plan a rally to celebrate the anniversary of the Women’s March. The rally is set for 2 p.m. January 20 at the corner of Highway 62 and Old Woman Springs Road. The 10 a.m. meeting Saturday is preceded by an optional $10 buffet breakfast at 9 a.m. at Bruce’s Café on the Copper Mountain College campus in Joshua Tree.
