This is your last weekend to see the “Painting on Painting” exhibit at the Joshua Tree Art Gallery, before the show ends Sunday, March 4. The exhibition includes minimalist and abstract works by James O’Keefe and David Mackenzie. A new solo show will open at JTAG March 10 and run through April 1, featuring the encaustic works by Barbara Spiller. The opening will be during the Second Saturday Art Crawl from 6 to 8 p.m. Then on Sunday, March 11, Spiller and Lauren Healy will host a free artist talk and poetry reading at JTAG from 3 to 5 p.m. To reserve your spot, call 760-366-3636 or email [email protected].
