LANDERS WOMAN ACCUSED OF SPOUSE ABUSE

A Landers woman was arrested Tuesday night, accused of attacking another woman. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 100 block of Sunny Vista Road about 10 p.m. The victim said her attacker, later identified as Wendy Ann Walker, 48, slapped her, and got her on the ground and began banging her head on the ground. After an investigation, Wendy Ann Walker was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
