A Landers man was arrested Friday after his girlfriend said he beat her up. According to a Sheriff’s report, Kirt Hanson, 50, went to his girlfriend’s home in the 5900 block of Mitch Lane in Landers and woke up his girlfriend by stomping on her and hitting her. Kirt Hanson was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000. Hanson has been convicted of multiple counts of spouse abuse and one count of child abuse, going back to 2001.
