A parole compliance check resulted in the arrest of a Landers man on multiple charges Saturday afternoon. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies went to check on Dennis Hanley, in the 100 block of Covelo Avenue about 5 p.m. Pornography, drugs, and paraphernalia were discovered, which violated the terms of Hanley’s parole. In the garage, deputies discovered a generator which had been reported stolen from another residence in the 100 block of Covelo Avenue on February 20. Hanley claimed that someone else had stolen the generator and brought it to his home. The generator was returned to its lawful owner, and Dennis Hanley was arrested on suspicion of violating the terms of his parole, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, and is being held without bail.
