A convicted felon was arrested Thursday, accused of possessing a sawed-off shotgun and other weapons. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies made a probation compliance check at a home in the 600 block of Ripon Avenue in Landers about 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning where they found Johnny Mungarro, 25. Mungarro is a convicted felon on probation for making criminal threats. Deputies located ammunition and several firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun. Johnny Mungarro was arrested for investigation of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a short-barreled shotgun, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
