The monthly membership meeting of the Landers Association is Saturday at Belfield Hall just east of the Moose Lodge on Reche Road in Landers. The 3 p.m. business meeting will follow an hour of fellowship and a potluck starting at 2 p.m. Residents are invited to mix and meet with old friends and new. At the business meeting there will be reports on last weekend’s swap meet and Orchid Festival, and an update on the planned reopening of Landers Thrift Shop at Belfield Hall the first weekend in November. Please bring any gently used items you wish to donate to the Thrift Shop. Membership is not required to attend. For more information, call 760-449-4048.
