JURY TRIAL TO START FOR MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING A MAN IN AN RV AT HOME DEPOT

A jury trial is scheduled to begin today for the Yucca Valley man accused of killing a man in an RV in the Home Depot parking lot nearly two years ago. John Rosin, 77, died from stab wounds he received inside his motorhome which was parked in front of the Home Depot in Yucca Valley in the early morning hours of August 28, 2014. Sheriff’s investigators arrested James Webb, 36, several hours later in the Paradise Valley neighborhood of Yucca Valley. He has been held on $1 million bail for charges of murder, assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury, and battery with serious bodily injury. Trial dates for James Webb have been scheduled and postponed eight times, going back to January 26, 2015, and most recently on May 31.
