The Joshua Tree Art Gallery will hold an opening reception Saturday for its newest exhibit honoring the newest three new national monuments. Monica Mahoney of the Mojave Desert Land Trust will discuss the new monuments, as well as provide maps and photos about the Sand to Snow, Mojave Trails, and Castle Mountains. The reception will be held during the Joshua Tree Second Saturday Art Crawl, and is from 6 to 8 p.m. The Joshua Tree Art Gallery is open Saturday from 10 to 3, Sunday noon to 3, and by appointment.
